Ahankaram Balam Darpam Kamam

Ahankaram balam darpam kamam krodham cha samsritah
Mam atma-para-dehesu pradvisanto ’bhyasuyakah

[Bhagavad Gita: chapter 16, verse 18]

Sri Chinmoy's Translation:

Me they ignore and despite, and also me they ignore and despise in others, who cherish egoism, vital power, insolence, lust and anger.
Brahman he will become who has abandoned egoism, destructive strength, arrogance, impure desire, wild anger, personality and individuality.
His is the life of infinity's peace.
