Jatri chaleche durgam pathe rikta
Ghana andhiyare ashru badale sikta
Kota samadhan shudhu bera jal bhranti
Chira sahachar bedana bilap shranti

The pilgrim is proceeding
Along the impenetrable road
  with his nothingness-companion.
He sees teeming darkness and lightning tears
  within and without him.
Bondage all around him; solution a far cry,
Weariness, lamentation, excruciating pangs
  have made him their eternal friend.
