Songs on Lord Shiva

Indian tradition states that Lord Shiva is part of the Hindu "holy trinity". The 3 different aspects of the Supreme being; Brahma the creator; Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer. Writing on Lord Shiva, Sri Chinmoy says he prefers to use the term "transformer" what Lord Shiva is actually doing is transforming our ignorance, which enables us to grow spiritually.
