Spoke to Sundari about database issues. Database is now local in Filemaker Pro 8.5 format. The understanding is that she will maintain the database locally and from time to time will send me a copy of her data for upload to the internet site.

Her first pass through the new database is about 80% complete. I am working on the transfer process. Likely will make heavy use of XML.

I am going to post a wish list of site improvements in a separate post.

Hi Michael,

He Paratha Sarathi is not composed by Sri Chinmoy but I believe the lyrics are out there somewhere.

I am so grateful to have found the song database. I was an original member of Srinvantu in the 70's (bass player), and wept tears of joy to hear the music again. I had not heard these songs for almost thirty years.
Is it still possible to obtain a CD or tape of that recording? Kalatit would know, I think.
I was also really thrilled to find He Paratha Sarathi in the recordings also, as I have wanted to sing it for years. I have searched everywhere online and have been unable to find the words in Bengali or the English translation. Would you be able to find the lyrics for me for that? Also, was the song Sudhu Sei Din recorded in more than one version? The one I have is on Soul Flames, recorded in 1978.
There are so many, many songs from our beloved Guru - one of his many gifts to the world - and you have my most sincere thanks for helping to make them available for the inspiration of people far and near.
Thank you for bringing that part of my heart home to me again.
